04

Roadmap stayed on track

In-house feature delivery kept its sprint cadence while reliability improved in parallel.

The Challenge

A large ecommerce company had a new third-party marketplace revenue channel ready to launch — but blocked by accumulated technical debt in the high-volume eCommerce platform underneath it.

The in-house storefront team needed feature delivery to continue at sprint cadence while reliability, performance, and partner-integration work happened in parallel.

Our Approach

We embedded a senior engineering pod inside the storefront team and ran two tracks in parallel — feature delivery against the client's sprint cadence, and the reliability and performance hardening their in-house team had never had room for.

We brought the Mirakl marketplace integration through end-to-end testing across GraphQL, Kafka consumers, and downstream storefront surfaces, validated on web, iOS, and Android with SauceLabs and K6 load tests.

Engagement Model

Senior engineering pod embedded inside the client's storefront team, full-time, multi-quarter. Pod-aligned reporting into the client's release-management cadence.
